Privacy Policy
By registering for one or several events or services of the Wild Wild South 2024 personal data will be submitted to Abseitz Stuttgart e.V. as the organizing body, which will be necessary for the organization and execution of said events and services. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/DS-GVO) requires that each participant is informed about the type and the procession of their collected data and about their rights by the time of the data submission. This information is provided accordingly to Art. 13, 14 DS-GVO in the following paragraphs.
1. Responsability
Responsible for the data protection is ABSEITZ e.V., represented by its management board. The board is constituted by the following members who are all authorised to represent the organisation:

2. Legal Basis and Purpose of Data Procession
According to Art.6 Abs.1 (b) DS-GVO, personal data is collected and processed purposive, because it is necessary for organizing and executing the Wild Wild South 2024.
Purposive means any information that is imperative for the tournament organization and all tasks and jobs connected to it.
Personal data will only be processed for purposes referred to in §2 if the participant has agreed to it. The agreement is expressed explicitly by the registration for the Wild Wild South 2024 and implicitly by payment of the registration fee.
3. Which personal data will be processed?
For the in §2 named purposes, the following personal data provided by a participant’s registration will be used in any case:
- Form of address, first name, last name
- E-Mail address
- Full names of team members and double partners
Apart from that, the following personal information that is optional in the registration process will be used if provided:
- Billing address (Street, House number, Post code, City)
- Country of origin or current residence
- Name of the own sports club or sports group
- Telephone number
Depending on the respective sports, some more information can be submitted that usually are not considered personal data:
- Team name
- Sports event or competition
- Division or performance level
All this data is exclusively used for contacting participants and providing them with all necessary information and execution and organization of any event and service during the Wild Wild South 2024, the following Wild Wild South or any other future international event organized by Abseitz Stuttgart e.V. that might be of interest to WWS participants.
4. Internal Users of Personal Data
Personal data will be forwarded to members of Abseitz Stuttgart e.V. who are responsible for organizing the respective event or service if it is necessary for said organization.
5. External Users of Personal Data
Personal data will be collected and used by the provider of the registration platform, eveeno.com. Their respective privacy policy can be found on https://eveeno.com/en/privacy.
In case of an insurance claim, personal data will be forwarded to a third party (ARAG) for the procession of insurance policies. Their privacy policy is available on www.arag.de/datenschutzerklaerung.
Abseitz Stuttgart e.V. will not save personal data in a cloud service, neither will a third party be authorized by Abseitz to process data in Non-EU third party countries.
6. Storage Location, Time Limit and Data Deletion
All personal data will be saved until the end of all Wild Wild South 2024 events at least. It will be deleted as soon as they are not needed any longer for the purpose of its processing, unless regulated otherwise by law. Usually, this purpose ends after the following Wild Wild South, by maximum 4 years after the end of the Wild Wild South 2024.
The physical storage is guaranteed to be within EU boundaries.
7. Encryption, Server Logs, Cookies
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as site operator, our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This means that data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" address line of your browser and the lock symbol in the browser line.
In server log files the provider of this website saves the following information automatically submitted by your browser:
- Browser type and version
- Used operating system
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time stamp of the server query
- IP address
This data will not be merged with data from any other source. This data procession is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which allows the procession of personal data in order to perform a contract or contractual agreements.

Participants have the following rights:
- The right of access according to Art. 15 DSGVO
- The right to rectification according to Art. 16 DSGVO,
- The right to erasure according to Art. 17 DSGVO,
- The right to restriction of processing according to Art. 18 DSGVO,
- The right to data portability according to Art. 20 DSGVO,
- The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority according to Art. 77 DSGVO,
- The right to withdraw consent at any time, without the lawfulness of processing undertaken on the basis of the consent up to the point of objection to subsequent processing being affected.
If your personal data is processed by us on the basis of Art. 6, Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, you have the right to object to this processing for reasons arising from your particular situation. Following receipt of your objection, we will no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. If you have successfully objected to the procession of your personal data you might no longer be eligible to participate in any WWS events or use any WWS services as a consequence.
